Information for ACCESS Transfers
ADMISSION
PROCEDURES
Upon
successful completion of the first-year ACCESS program,
students choose a permanent research advisor for completion
of the Ph.D. ACCESS students wishing to pursue their Ph.D.
in the Molecular Biology Interdepartmental Ph.D. Program
(MBIDP) submit a joint application for admission (with their
chosen research mentor) at the end of Spring Quarter of
their ACCESS year. All faculty mentors, including those
who are currently mentoring or have previously mentored,
a student in the MBIDP, must submit their portion of the
joint application, including all required signatures.
Student/Mentor
applications for admission to the MBIDP may be obtained
in the MBI Administrative Office, 168 Boyer Hall.
